Marie Monville is an author and speaker who brings a message of hope, redemption, and faith to audiences through honest storytelling, biblical truth, and a perspective shaped by her own extraordinary journey.

Redemption is what God does, and He invites us to join Him in it.
Marie knows what it means for life to be divided into a before and an after.
She also knows that redemption doesn’t erase what happened.
It doesn’t require us to call something good that was painful. And it doesn’t offer easy answers for experiences that have changed us.
Instead, redemption allows us to look honestly at what has been lost while remaining open to what God may still be doing.
Sometimes that means learning to hope again. Sometimes it’s taking one faithful step when we can’t see where the road leads. Sometimes it’s allowing God to use our story to reach someone else.
And sometimes, it’s recognizing the redemptive work happening right in front of us and accepting God’s invitation to join Him in it.
What happened matters. But it doesn’t get the final word.
More Than One Story. More Than One Kind of Message.
Every audience is different. Marie works with event organizers to understand the people in the room, the purpose of the gathering, and the message they most need to hear.
Her speaking centers around four core experiences:
A Story of Hope & Redemption
Drawing from her journey, Marie explores loss, faith, forgiveness, healing, and the unexpected ways God can bring redemption from even the most difficult circumstances, bringing hope and purpose to what once seemed impossible to redeem.
Hope in Hard Seasons
Through personal story, biblical truth, and practical encouragement, Marie helps audiences navigate grief, disappointment, uncertainty, and change while discovering how hope can remain present even in life’s hardest seasons.
Faith for Your Story
For women’s events and retreats, Marie brings Scripture to life, helping women see their own experiences through a biblical lens and creating room for meaningful reflection, connection, renewed hope, and deeper faith.
Stories That Inspire Action
For fundraising banquets and mission-driven organizations, Marie uses story as a bridge to the mission, helping guests see the redemptive work already happening and consider how they might become part of it.
Every gathering has a purpose. Let's create a message that serves yours.

A Story the World Heard. A Redemption Story Still Being Written.
In October 2006, Marie’s first husband was responsible for the shooting at an Amish schoolhouse in Nickel Mines, Pennsylvania. In a single morning, Marie became a widow and single mother of three young children, while also finding herself at the center of a story being told around the world.
What followed was a long journey of grief, faith, forgiveness, healing, and unexpected grace. Over time, Marie discovered that tragedy could be part of her story without defining all that came after it.
Today, she shares what she has learned about meeting God in the places we never would have chosen and remaining open to what He can still do there.

Marie was a tremendous blessing to our women. She is transparent, sincere, and is committed to teaching God’s Word. She challenged our women which has resulted in us staying connected after the retreat. We would highly recommend Marie.
God went above and beyond all we could ask or think when He brought you to us! I had so many women tell me how powerful your testimony and Q&A time was. You are a wonderful steward of the treasures and experiences He has entrusted you with.
